Probably not surprising, but it's confirmed now. Stadium is too badly damaged to definitely be ready in time and it might not even be ready for the 2012 season. And obviously there's going to be an extreme shortage of accommodation. The 2 quarter finals move to Auckland and the 5 pool matches will be shared around.

There is a memorial service today for the victims of the Christchurch earthquake. Prince William will be in attendance and it's a public holiday for the Canterbury area.

^ Totally. We moan away here in Scotland about the weather and all those 'dreech' days. However, there's something to be said for not living somewhere where you may have all this to contend with.
