I would when the time was right, don't think its necessary now - unless I get hit by a bus on my way home.

I hope so, my arm is killing and I've got a banging headache!  I wouldn't mind, but its my second blood test this week and my other arm was fine when I had it done.  Stupid bint of a nurse.

But I didn't ask to be alive.

I was brought in to this work, got told to learn and work in order to survive then die ... whats the point in life?  I would appreciate love more if I could spend it with my friends and family, if I spend most of my time being happy - but I'm not.  I see my family and friends on the weekend, thats what I live for.  I don't enjoy the company I work for and I'm not getting job interviews, I'm in debt, my parents are in debt - which has big chances of effecting me, and I can't stop being ill or being in pain for whatever reason.

To be able to live in peace, harmony and content sounds like a wonderful thing.  But this is the world we was born into and theres no other way around it.

That's a bit like complaining about winning the lottery just because someone bought a ticket for you.

So, I'm meant to be overly ecstatic and happy for the sake of it?  Because its LIFE?!

That's not what I said. However, I don't have to know you personally to realise that you are seriously overstating how grim your situation is.

Well I'm glad you think my situation is better than what I do.  I still yet need convincing.

But I'm curious, what makes you think I'm overstating my "grim" situation? Think

Because you are talking as if you would rather be dead than lead the life you're leading.

It wouldn't make a difference.  I've had a great life so far, if I got hit by a bus I would be satisfied with the life I have lead.

You're saying one must appreciate being alive all the time because its a great gift thats been bestowed on us.  I say I live my life, and with the stuff going on but I don't then sit back and think about how great it is being on this earth.  I've got better things to occupy my mind, like trying to get to a point in which I will enjoy life alot more.

I cannot imagine someone in your position thinking that they would be better off dead. You don't like your job, so you reckon not being alive is a more desirable option? That's just bizarre to me.

I'm not saying I'd be better off, I'm saying it wouldn't make a difference.  I'm not afraid of death.  Course its not going to happen any.  I'm not suidical.  I'm going through a tough patch, as people are allowed to do.

You do know the getting hit by bus coz I got a sore arm was a bit of joke right?  An example of me not appreciating life at the moment ....

Give someone your Medical Power of Attorney and also make out a Living Will which includes a DNR - that way if you end up in hospital no-one can mess around with you and the person who has your Medical Power of Attorney will see to it.
Are there such things as MPAs in the UK?  I've made my wishes plain to my nearest and dearest but I wouldn't trust any doctor not to start fiddling around with me.  And as for giving up parts of my body for organ transplants or medical science - absolutely no way.  It's all going with me.

I wouldn't worry about long life. You're inevitably going to get septicaemia or hepatitis from dodgy tattooing and die a hideous, mewling death.
If that was realistic then I'd worry Rolling Eyes
I must apologise to you Quackers.  I opened a Tattoo thread, without bothering to check first if there already was one. doh

Its ok, it was in the Underground section and it had a few personal photos which I ended up deleting anyway.  Nobody seemed interested, apart from telling me off lol

I like the subject has been brought up by someone other than me.

Mine is lodged with my GP and he never said ... we don't do this here - so it's a good question Aileen.

You did nothing wrong as the other thread was in the members only section. It's only because this morning I decided the thread was suitable for the public forum (as Amy removed her images) that it made sense to merge it with yours.
