french is a wonderful language.some things just sound so much nicer in french than english so i just say the french sometimes, although ppl do give you funny looks.completely random but had anyone ever seen jean de florette?its the best french film ever and manon des sources (the second part of it-a sequel but not really) is possibly even better

lol yes - manon des sources was the second part of our 2 french set texts for a level.
the film misses out huge HUGE amounts from the book. but its still very very good Smile gerard depardieu - that bastion of french cinema - is fab in it. (Jdf that is)

We watched Jean de Florette and Manon des Sourses at school last year aswell. They were both very good films, but I prefered Manon des Sources. Smile
