So far, best season of Lost... ever. I'm going to miss this so much

just watched the season 6 opener on sky+. I quite like this alternate timeline device but i wonder if it will last the season. Cant wait for richard alpert's flashback episode tho, apparently its something the writers have promised this season.
Season 6 is absolutely the last season, the writers are in the middle of doing the final ever episode.
You're not waiting for Richard's flashback, you're waiting for his Flash-Sideways. It's not a glimpse of the future or the past,
Spoiler:
it's from a timeline as if the bomb plan succeeded and the plane never crashed in the first place, it isn't meant to be a parallel universe either.
All will be revealed eventually.

Another insanely good episode, this season is relentless in its brilliance. I think this must be the best final season to any show in history.

OMG. How good was Richard Alperts Flashback. Tenerife. WTF??? I doubt the place has that much green plantation anywhere.

Yes it was an amazing episode, possibly the best episode of the show. Probably the second best after the pilot.

desmond!! I wonder whose side widmore is on - jabobs, mib's, or his own. Ive managed to stay spoiler free so far but apparently that zoe character has a major part to play yet.

I've never been a big fan of the Desmond character, I think I'm firmly in the minority with that.

I've completely forgotten the whole storyline around Walt... I forget so much stuff that has happened in Lost as every season goes by because there is SO MUCH stuff to remember.

Yeah its annoying when they dont tie up all the stories. It was Walt supposedly imagining the polar bears, and then so many times we were told he was special and important. Now he's no longer in it. Then theres the magic box that gives you whatever you want? And not forgetting why was Libby in the mental home with Hurley?

the libby storyline was quite intriguing but i think the writers confirmed, a while ago, they were leaving it alone. Walt could still turn up tho but he must look way older now.

Many people have been saying it's the best episode of the entire show but I think the Alpert one probably gets that award.

The most interesting theory thought up as a consequence of the latest episode is this, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly:
Spoiler:
When Fake Locke asked Desmond if he knew who he was, and Desmond replied ''John Locke,'' did you get the sense that the reason that Fake Locke threw Desmond into the well was because Desmond had stumbled on his big secret — that this Fake Locke thing who's been claiming not to be John Locke all season long really is John Locke?
Yes. I thought that thought.
