Well said I luvandy. I can honestly say I loathed her and her politics. Perhaps we in Scotland saw the real version of Thatcher. I think she was all for big business and sought to keep working people down. The only ones who will truly miss her are Osbourne,Cameron and his millionaire friends.

One group of people that will be applauding her death is the IRA.

I am sure the present and former government are well aware of the IRA. It does not matter what the colour of their politics are. The peace process took many years Tony Blair was well aware of the IRA not only the Conservatives.

Didn't support her politics. But may she rest in peace anyhow.

So was Blair.    Maybe the nation should think before it speaks.

You mean England spoke FCR. She was despised in the North of England and Scotland or do we not count.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

I'm in the North of England. I thought she was great. She shut down mines and uneconomic manufacturing. If you didn't like it, you got on your bike. I did. I moved to London when I was 23, which was the last thing I wanted.

Good for you Nigel I bet you were single and could do what you wanted. Some people had families could they afford to buy a house in London. You remind me of Thatchers saying "There is no such thing as Society" in other words "I'm all right Jack" which is typical of the tories. Yes the world does not owe you a living but  if you cannot get a job and do not have a bike you are stuck.

Act in haste, repent at leisure.  Let's see what happens at the Scottish Referendum.

Not everyone in Scotland, but the VAST majority.   The insincerity in her voice when she said the prayer of St. Francis outside No.10 when she was first elected still makes me feel sick.    We  suffer from the effect of her policies even now.

A suitable epitaph for her Poll Tax.    It cost the country a fortune but sounded the death knell for her reign.

Unforgivable what she did to the mining communities. Large scale destruction of communities and nothing put in their place.
So uneconomical that we promptly started importing coal and steel from countries whose government subsidised them in order to keep the industries going and provide employment.
I loathed her policies and the negative impact Tory unadulterated greed on this country.
Hating these horrible eulogies. Hope there's a massive demonstration at this promised gross funeral. .

Yes I agree BBH she was all for the money people and could not give a **** if you were working class. She destroyed heavy industry in Scotland and left thousands unemployed she will not be missed in Scotland at all.We have little engineering or ship building left all we have are call cenetres and such like and who suffers if multinational are to close the Scots, who have given the subsidies to come to Scotland. I loathed the woman and do not feel any sympathy for her demise at all.
