Margaret Thatcher - good or bad?

Quote

hahahaha.... sureeeee. Whatever.

Its about that in those cases the woman who is pregnant either didn't ask for this baby OR has her own life in danger, which is the more important life in my opinion. People who get pregnant and suddenly demand an abortion are being selfish. They need to accept the responsibility of the baby they will bare. They need to give it up for adoption if they don't want it. Give that life a chance to thrive. It deserves a chance.

But you view abortion as murder, correct?

If so, how can you justify allowing an innocent child to be murdered? It's not the child's fault that the woman was raped.

Abortion is killing a life and should be limited as much as possible. But I think its simply being realistic to say that if a woman has been raped, for the sake of that woman, and to help limit further harm and trauma to her, an abortion should be available if requested. That is my opinion.

If a woman who has been raped wants to carry a child to term, that's great. But I am not going to speak for any woman who has been forced through such a horrible and traumatic thing such as rape. I wouldn't encourage an abortion, but it should be there if needed.

But you are essentially saying that you approve of murdering an innocent child in response to rape. How can you possibly reconcile viewing abortion as murder while permitting it in certain cases?

It's logically incoherent.

That woman has to live with the burden of having an abortion. Not me.

If you actually read my prior posts, you will see I have not been actively lobbying for the outlawing of abortion. As I think that would actually cause more problems and possibly hurt more lives.

The only time I can see any justification for abortion is in rape cases, etc.

In the end its the woman who has the abortions responsibility, regardless of how I view it.  But personally I am pro-life. Personally.

I know you're not lobbying for it, but your personal view is still logically inconsistent.
