As of this point, I'm the better player skill wise.

But after winning the first set and being 2 games up in the second, my lack of match fitness hit me in the legs. Then the rest of my game starting going downhill as well, while Tom slightly improved.

Perhaps I shouldn't have played tennis on Friday and Saturday but either way, Tom was always going to win today due to his athletic advantage.

I'll never match his fitness because he plays football where as I play tennis. No comparison really.

I'm reasonably happy that I'm the better player at this point. I have improved in many areas.
