Oh no - stumbled across Billy Elliot on TV.  One of my favourite films ever.  I'll just watch a wee bit (for the umpteenth time!)

I thought that too Ellie, then just had to watch the whole darn thing again! Well worth it though, just to see the closing scenes!  w00t

Hope you enjoy it as much as i did.

Finally got to see this! I did like it- but must admit spent a lot of time wincing at Russell Crowe's attempt at an Irish accent... (Why,oh why do people try and do them if they can't?And why do directors/producers/people with EARS let it happen?! pullhair )

Well, there was nothing-NOTHING-the least bit true about this accent. It was SO bad. I don't know whether it's because I am Irish, but I always find a bad Irish accent in any movie or tv show really horrid to listen to- it's actually distracting! That said though, I'm like that with any kind of accent that's badly done really Shrug

Sean Connery never changes his accent for anybody......even when he played Richard the Lionheart in that wonderful movie 'Robin Hood....Prince of Thieves'! Mind you.....I think he only had about one line in that!  w00t
