I'll be around but mostly as a general tennis forum (really love the sport). I don't think I want to get attached to any player any more. Pete and Andy are enough for me.

Echo the love for MW. I'd been lurking here for a couple of years before I joined and have been an Andy fan for many more (albeit rather seasonal until more recently).

Being on this forum has made me so much more knowledgeable about tennis than 3 weeks of Queens and Wimbledon ever could. I now understand much more for example about the importance of first serve percentages and how points work than I could have hoped to before. Could probably have read it all on Wikipedia but it wouldn't have been as fun!

As I said yesterday elsewhere I'm not just a fair-weather fan and plan to support Andy until he hangs up his racquet. Having a place like this to come when so many forums for other things have been replaced by social media and tumblr (which just don't have the same community feel to the messageboards I used to frequent) is a real treat.

So thanks to Mark & co for a great website. I may not post much but I try and follow every tournament on the site.
