Is it sheer coincidence that you, the guy with the radiation avatar, mentions Chernobyl?

Actually it is, yes.
To be honest I'd completely forgotten about the avatar.

^They all do it don't they?
Even that blind one who's name escapes me right now. Don't what she saw in him tbh.
In bad taste I know.
Must be something on the 'tick list' of being a politician! Maybe it's a power thing!

Scolari offered England Managers job...........
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/4949118.stm
England shouldn't employ another foriegner for the managers job - my thoughts, and perhaps the thoughts of a nation? I don't know?
Just because he won it with Brazil in the past, it doesn't mean that he will win it with England in the future. What does he know about the English passion for football?

I have never been so prejudiced, thank you . I really like Sven and the last time I checked he was not British. Coaches are supreme professionals and it is equally sensible to hire a foreign manager.

But that said, I want Allardyce as the manager. With Hiddink gone, no one else deserves it.

FFS, Allardyce would be even worse than Sven. As I mentioned in my post in the England manager topic, the only person who would benefit from Allardyce would be Peter Crouch. Tactics would be "smack it up the pitch and cross it to the bean pole" which would be no better than Sven's "score early then cling on to 1-0 for dear life" and games, particularly the friendlies would be simply unwatchable. Out of all the names that have tossed about, he would be the worst possible choice.
I also would like the manager to be English, but the likes of Mclaren and Allardyce are not up to the job IMO. What has Allardyce achieved? What has he won? Scolari has won the World Cup and reached the final of the European Championship, knocking England out in both of those tournaments. I don't know anything about his club management career, but to be given the job in charge of Brazil, it must have been fairly decent. Allardyce's name does not belong in the same sentence. Neither does Mclaren's. With Mclaren it would be just more of the same as what we have with Sven as he has been with him the whole way. We might get a few mediocre Middlesbrough players like Downing getting a few caps, but nothing else will change - our most talented squad ever will never realise their potential and will keep going out at the quarter final stage every time.
I think Curbishley might have done a decent job, perhaps the best of the English candidates, and I actually really like Stuart Pearce although this was much to early for him to be considered. He may well be the next England manager. Certainly the next time the job is up for grabs, I would expect him to be one of the main candidates at least.

My issues in the UK, were, but are not limited to:-
Immigration
Corrupt councils - Doncaster had one of the worst!
Sports coverage - or the lack of it, unless you are a sky customer (referring to UK of course)
Political correctness
These are ones that come off the top of my head now but it is late!
