Just finished House of Cards this season. Fairly good, still miss the excitement of the first couple of seasons.
Just finished watching it. Feels like it was a bridging season between the two sections of the meta-narrative. Things look like they could get interesting in the next season, with a strong indicator at the end that it won't just be Frank doing direct-to-camera addresses in future.
Is Robin Wright not allowed to eat when filming this?! Getting ridiculous how slight she is becoming.
The showrunner is leaving, it will be interesting to see how that impacts upon the next season as he won't be writing for that.
Don't think it can sustain itself for much longer as it is just delaying the inevitable. I think six seasons, but it could stretch to seven, but if it tries to go beyond seven then it will probably ruin itself.
In the back of my mind there is the very final scene of the original HoC. They've translated a number of things from the original really well, but I'm not sure if they'll think it is important to bring that final scene into this HoC. The final scene in the original remains one of the best choreographed scenes in British television drama, and it is the bit I remember the most.
