I can't even begin trying to imagine what those few weeks must have been like for all those involved and those affected by the bombs. I mean I'm in Ireland, but it still hit me quite hard.
Totally - We were in school that day and everything went manic, to begin with the year 7s were going around saying the French were bombing us because we got the Olympics
and then we all thought it was just a power surge, then i had a strange phone call from my dads office asking whether my dad had left for work in the morning, and then we were told that there had been torrorist attacks, and the whole school was on the phone trying to find out information.
Our school was meant to finish for the holidays the next day, but they decided to close school that day as all of us lived in London, and some of us wouldn't be able to get home that night (like me) because their parents were involved
I mean, being the people manically trying to find out if relatives were ok was hard enough but i can't even begin to imagine what it was like for the people in the trains - must have been awful

That must have been horrible for you.
The whole thing of not knowing any information must have driven people crazy that day.

I had the orthodontist that day so I heard it all on the radio. When I got back from school people had random stories but I could tell them what really happened.

I was at work and we watched the reports on the television all day. My mum and dad where in London the week before, and they said the underground was packed out because of everybody going to watch Live8 in Hyde Park.
That must have been awful annie

God yes the stories that were going around were crazy, but luckily we have some amazingly fantastic teachers, who allowed us to look information up on the internet, and try and call family etc. Also one of my teacher's husband is involved with like the police or something, so she told us all the information, whilst the internet was still saying it was a power surge

That's not good news at all. I hope they are able to contain it and that it doesn't affect people like the cases in Indonesia etc..

As long as it doesn't spread to domestic birds, it shouldn't be quite so bad. But it is worrying the rate at which its spreading.

It really is worrying especially with the amount of birds that we have that migrate for the winter months.

Well its still got to mutate into a form which can be passed between humans. When that happens, we're in trouble.
