I don't know, but I'd be completely okay if the south wanted to secede from the rest of the US.
Or I'll just move. That'll probably be easier. The fact that Rick Santorum is even a possible Republican presidential candidate freaks me the f**k out.
I find myself rooting for Santorum in each primary, if only to guarantee Obama's re-election.
I'm increasingly disturbed by the Republican party and the America it represents. Just how can someone with the social views of Santorum (or Romney for that matter) have a credible shot at being the most powerful man in the world? Craziness, utter craziness.

Romney is not well-liked by many Republicans, because he was governor of Massachusetts and had to hold a slightly more liberal view than Republicans normally like nowadays. Santorum apparently embodies everything that is wrong with Romney.
I'd like to believe that it's a landslide victory for Obama, but I don't know with this country anymore.

Yup - he will be absolutely destroyed if he goes against Obama.

He doesn't have mainstream appeal due to his ****** up views so I can't see how that would happen.

We certainly don't have "free speech" nor should we. Incitement to harm being one example.

For the life of me I just do not understand American politics. Tell me why would working class people vote for any of the Republican candidates. They are so right wing it is unbelievable. No free medical care, high unemployment and the number of people who lost their homes when the banks went bust. It seems all the tax concessions go to people who are already rich. Birth control should be available to all who want it, surely
it is a private matter and politics should have nothing to do with it.

The reason workingclass Americans vote that way is because they are ill educated and easily manipulated by amoral TV networks which play on their fears and prejudices in much the same way as the gutter press do here.

Yes, people tend to hate against rigged elections.

Wish haters would sort their own system out first before bashing others.
Zyuganov, Zhirinovsky, Mironov and Prokhorov really are not an option.

Putin could nuke a colony of fluffy kittens and Julia would still find a way to defend him.

It doesn't excuse rigging. Seriously... listen to yourself - you sound like a delusional Federer fan.

Unfortunately there is no proof so our media can speculate all they want.
There is no doubt Putin is corrupt but he is currently the only politician able to represent Russia internationally.
