Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

Unfortunately there is no proof so our media can speculate all they want.
There is no doubt Putin is corrupt but he is currently the only politician able to represent Russia internationally.
What about these pics on the BBC news of election officials shredding voters' election papers because they hadn't voted for Putin?
But if Putin is all Russia can produce at the moment, that's a pity, because, not only is he unpopular in Russia but also with other world leaders, so I can see more unsettled and uneasy times for the foreseeable future, and that isn't good for global harmony - and that's wobbly enough as it is.

Unfortunately the BBC creates a very negative image, particularly with all the "thousands" of anti-Putin protesters headlines flooding their pages every day. I've been asking my mum who's been in Moscow for the past few months about it all and it's further from the truth. I think Putin would have won the election, rigged or not, it's what most Russian people want.

Is that a genuine desire to have Putin back in though, or a realisation that the other candidates were apparently stooges and just there to provide a semblance of opposition, sanctioned by Putin et al? I've been reading over the last few days that many Russians vote, rather than abstain, through a duty instilled in them since Soviet days, when sham elections were held with only one candidate ever on the ballot - don't know how true this is.

Probably something they don't think about too often these days [with their busy lives] until something brings it to mind! Well, hopefully anyway!

I'm sure that Andy has said that he remembers hardly anything, if not nothing, of that tragic day. Not heard what Jamie has to say about it. My guess is that Judy will remember the most.

Now I just wish they could arrest Murdoch so the evil old ******* rots in a jail cell for the rest of his miserable life. However, given that he basically owns the government, it won't happen.

I'm constantly disgusted that ANYONE buys The Sun, or used to buy The Screws. Two publications so awful in myriad ways that I'd rather use sandpaper to cleanse my crevasse than them, if I were unexpectedly caught without my favoured Andrex Puppies-on-a-Roll to hand.
Terrible newspapers and a sad reflection on our society as a whole.

Actually, I think The Mail is worse because it pretends....
At least The Sun is in your face awful, whereas The Mail is devious awful.
