Though I'm not a religious person, I do believe in the power of prayer and would ask any members who believe, to pray for this little girl. It's heartbreaking!
Wow, you're so right, why don't they all just stop searching and pray? Bet they'll find her quicker that way.

What a ridiculously stupid comment to make! I always thought you were such a nice girl! What's happened?

I think it's debatable whose comment was stupid.
Religious people think prayer actually does anything. It's like when people pray for someone to get out of surgery okay, as if their supreme being had everything to do with how the surgery went and not the actual surgeon.
If she's found, it's because of the hundreds of people who are working to get her back and find out what happened, not because of prayer.

I wish I hadn't read this. I feel sick. It's a parent's worst nightmare.
I work with kids, and they can be as gullible as an adult can be seductive.
This doesn't sound like an opportune incident. It's a small town, and there were only young kids present. The only description in this article is that the van was grey or light coloured. No mention of the perpretrator/s.
I hope they find this beautiful little girl safe, soon. And I hope the *******/s gets what's deserved.

For those following the Jimmy Savile story, you might be interested in this transcript from 'Have I got news for you?' that was pulled.

Oh....My.......God......and to think I used to admire him for all the charity work he done! Particularly at Stoke Mandeville where he helped out as a porter for many years! It just goes to show that you can't always judge a book by it's cover eh? Sad really!

I read this a few years ago. Was Savile's alleged evil **** common knowledge around the Beeb then? He didn't seem to deny any of the stuff Merton, Deayton and Hislop were suggesting. Unbelievable that this was apparently known about but never went beyond a bit of police questioning.

Never really known all that much about Savile, he was a bit before my time. I've read today that he was well connected, not sure to whom.

Edward Heath and Margaret Thatcher. The Heath thing was a bit worrying. Allegedly, he used to procure young boys for the former PM and smuggle them onto Heath's yacht for him.
