i am the rubbishest person when it comes to technology and i need your help.
ive taken some pictures on my digital camera (its a sony i dont know if that makes a differece) and i want to upload them onto my laptop.
how do i do that? should i have a cable or a memory stick in the camera or something so i can do it?
please help me!!

i aint the best either but there is usually a cable that you connect to ur laptop via usb ..or if its a new laptop there r spaces to put ur memory card from your camera and upload them ... hope that helps amy but like i said i aint the best with stuff like that . I guess Mark, dawew and johnW can help more than i  can

Do you have Fine Pix Viewer, if not download it, mind you it might be on a CD but try and get Fine Pix Viewer and that might help you Wink.

You should have a cable that came with your camera, to connect your camera to the laptop (via the 'USB port').
No cable?

Yeah you should have a cable. It will plug into the USB on the laptop and your camera at the other end. Also you should have got a CD with the camera with some sony software. Then you should easily be able to connect the camera to the laptop, and use the sony software to get the pics off the camera and onto the computer.
See what came with your camera.

It depends on the camera actually.
Some of them require specific softwares while you can upload the pics directly by connecting it with the port with some.
