You know what's a fun time? Looking at the comments on your local news station website written by uneducated, racist pricks.

Some are actually quite funny.

But really, I just look because it's amusing to remind myself what a bullet I dodged from not applying to any college/law school in Rhode Island. I'd never want to work for this constituency. lol

However, am still surprised at how many people believe that Obama is an illegal immigrant...

It makes me laugh do Americans really think Obama is an illegal imigrant.  But I must agree I visited USA some time ago now
and found the population quite ignorant about europe and the rest of the world.  Why is this are people not educated about
the world.  I found it at that time that americans were very insular and a lot had not travelled overseas. Perhaps now that the
asian countries are more competative in the manufacturing markets they will take more notice of what is going on outside
america. confused confused

You don't have to be a supporter of any party to see how much everything is going up in price.
I have just received a letter from the power company to tell me that I have to pay another £56.00 per month.
My husband and I are both pensioners and are just about making ends meet now.
I also saw on the TV this morning that there are to be large number of the police being made redundant and
a large reduction on their levels of pay.  Soon no one will have a job.  Also heard a while back that troops that
are returning from Afghanistan will also lose their jobs.  What a slap in the face for those men and women who
have fought in Afghanistan to be told this. This government have no loyalty to the armed forces.  Now they want
this country to get involved in Libya.  Then they put their foot in it by sending according to them diplomats and troops
from SBS who were promptly caught leaving Hague with egg on his face.  How many more botched up actions do
this government get involved in.  It proves that they are not capable when it comes to foreign affairs. shocking shocking shocking
