Haven't heard that one before !!  Isn't she kind of dark and have the wrong features to be a Mexican?

Thought I'd bump this old thread.

I am so over the job searching and unemployment thing. First class honours degree and top in my year yet in the 3 years since I finished Uni I've been unemployed for around a year and a half of it. Not all at the same time as it was broken up by a couple of fixed term contracts, but am currently 2 and a half months into the latest spell of unemployment. Don't know how much more of it I can take. I feel like I've been constantly searching and applying for jobs for 4 years now. Is it understandable that I just want a year, maybe 2 off having to do it?

I don't have high ambitions. Is it really too much to ask for to just have a permanent job in the background somewhere that nobody cares about with a living wage so I can at least live a life. Rent my own place and be able to actually make some plans. Just feel so worthless.

Have started on my citizenship application so I can think about trying Australia (NZ citizens can live and work there indefinitely with no need for visas or anything and vice versa) although I don't think I'll have the money to actually be able to move there without a job. Toyed with the idea of trying the UK but I figure the economy there is even more ****** than here. Plus with my Grandma now in a rest home I no longer have that free place to stay for a little while in London. If she still had her house it might have been worth going over for a few months and trying my luck as I'd have no living costs and nothing to lose, then if I got something I could find a place of my own.

Anyway sorry for the rant, just needed to do it somewhere.

I think the citizenship application is the right course of action.  It can be very disheartening to be constantly told no we don't want you.  I've said many a time that I believe that things happen for a reason and when they fall in to place, it's meant to be!  Good luck!

I have the same feeling's about Posh btw!
