I've just not been watching any TV apart from on my computer. I have a couple of chairs here though when I do.

The colour and sofa is exactly as below. I think all recliner sofas are ugly but this one is tolerable.

I just have to buy a few more wooden things now so the brown doesn't stick out so much in a beige room.

Me too.  I have my 'bits' and 'pieces' and they are mostly in red and green.  I like warm, vibrant colours - but less is more.

Neither of them floats my boat.  A is too much - B is too stark.

That sounds really good. I find it a bit risky though, I like to play it on the safe side and go for neutral.

True. A bit of colour would help. Maybe some discrete greens.
It's just about finding a middle ground and what you're happy with.  And, of course, your tastes will change with age. Very Happy

Yes, I'm already experiencing it.

I've always been 100% modern only but now I'm starting to appreciate the classic look. Chesterfields etc.

I think I can safely say my place is eclectic.  I don't go for a 'look' I just gather the things around me that make me smile and feel good.  I've been told my home is very inviting.  That's nice to know, but it's my home, and as long as it makes me feel good - that's what counts.
