Mark a house is for living in. Get what you want and what you are comfortable with. I have animals and with that in mind my house reflects that. It is still comfortable but I do like a bit of colour to brighten the place up.

I've just not been watching any TV apart from on my computer. I have a couple of chairs here though when I do.

The colour and sofa is exactly as below. I think all recliner sofas are ugly but this one is tolerable.

Nice selection Mark Smile
The best part is that it wont stain so feel free to eat anything on your sofa!

Sofa looks like mine, except dark green.

On a completely different subject, my son has failed all his exams and has been suspended from Uni.
Never missed a lecture, just really struggling.

He's devastated.
I love him so much.

I'm really sorry to hear that, but if its any consolation my son took an honours degree at Edinburgh some years ago but has still to find a decent job.  As one door closes, another opens, and every window frames a different view.

Fiverings I know how you feel my son did a degree to be a town planner he looked for a job with the council as they are the one's who employ most planners. I tried hard for two years to get any kind of job in that field but got nowhere. He now works for a bank it is a job with half descent money but not what he really wanted. Only two in his course got planning jobs the rest are doing something different. My son would have to take a further post graduate degree to go back into planning but he does not want or afford to do that. At least he has a job I feel sorry for all the other young people who have worked so hard at uni and got nowhere. Sorry to hear about your son Scotnadian hope he does not get too dishearted I wish him well for the future.

If he keeps believing in himself he won't need those exams. Its reassuring to know your proud of him, most parents go (unfairly) bonkers with their children when they fail, but to be honest it won't help the child in the long run, we need our parents support and I'm glad I get the support I need. I hope your son realises that he can strive higher even without the exams. Smile

I always see exams as a piece of paper with a letter stuck to it. You may have failed the exam but by no means does it mean you are useless. The best of us come from those who come from the bottom. A common example of this is J.K. Rowling, who went from depressed mum to inspirational billionaire.

Andrew.. he's been meeting with his Profs and Academic Advisor and he may change to another programme. but he would have to re-apply and it would have to be passed by the Dean (which we've been told shouldn't be a problem.) He's got 2 years of credits which would be a shame to waste.

MuzzaFan..Thanks. He's my son, and I love him, and I'll always support him.

He just needs to figure out where he is at and what he wants to do about it, and we'll take it from there.

I know how you feel Linda my daughter has had a lot of grief in her short life her partner was killed and she was pregnant. With help and support she has turned her life around and has worked hard. She is due to graduate in June. Life is never easy but with love and support we get there in the end.

All that before her graduation day? Wow, it just shows how harsh the world can be to people. I'm glad to hear that she turned her life around, its never easy being so young and grieving for someone you love, its something we don't dream about until we are a little older. Smile
