The polling is showing the race to be way too close for my liking.

Deepak Chopra on his book Life after Death – The Burden on Proof, George Bush, Organized Religion, Organized Science and Richard Dawkins in general. And his next book - The Third Jesus.  (1st, the Historical Jesus, 2nd, The Western Jesus (one hijacked by the Christians and finally, the 3rd Jesus, The Cosmic Jesus.)

Chopra on Organized Religions – it’s divisive, quarrelsome and idiotic.
Chopra on Organized Science – science fundamentalists are more dangerous than Religion fundamentalists and are blind worshipers of science.

I've seen Deepak Chopra in some debates - he comes off a bit of a crazed hippie trying to convince you of his theories by randomly dumping in some scientific and clever sounding words.

He seems like a nice chap though who wouldn't harm a fly.

Your knowledge of anyone who's not from the Western culture is so appalling.

From Wikipedia:

Deepak Chopra (born October 22, 1946) is an Indian-born, American physician and writer. Chopra has taught at the medical schools of Tufts University, Boston University and Harvard University. He became Chief of Staff at the New England Memorial Hospital (NEMH) in Massachusetts,[1] before establishing a private practice.[1] In 1985, Chopra met Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who invited him to study Ayurveda.[2][3] Chopra left his position at the NEMH and became the founding president of the American Association of Ayurvedic Medicine, and was later named medical director of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center.

What was your point again?

I knew about his qualifications already.

I read a comment today where this guy said and I quote, “Chopra understands everything about Dawkins’ materialistic worldview, while Dawkins is not capable of comprehending what Chopra is talking about.”

Couldn’t agree more.

Dawkins talks science. Chopra pretends to talk science to give his wild theories credibility but when he gets busted on it he hides behinds his qualifications.

He’s a medical professor and a scientist and you called him a “crazed hippie” just because he doesn’t float your boat. It’s okay if you don’t agree with his teachings but he’s far superiors in terms of knowledge and everything else than you will ever be and yet, you show no respect.

And no, I don’t think you knew anything about him until I quoted him from Wikipedia.

If you knew anything even remotely about Chopra, you would have never said that. On this matter, you are just another science fanatic who resorts to insults at the very chance he gets.

Watch the video, Emma Jean. Sam Harris absolutely takes him to school, while Deepak gets louder and louder.
