  True - but read Goulds "Wonderful Life" to learn how the evolutionary pathway might turn out quite differently too......  He didn't develop the idea, but imagine what we might look like if we developed from dinosaur stock. Little hairless green people, no external ears, etc etc?

Yes, the evolutionary path would naturally be different every time but our understanding of it through science wouldn't yes

Heard a great story over Christmas, can't remember where. In a school nativity play, one of the kids wanted to be Josef, but was assigned to be the inn keeper instead.
A knock on the door, Josef enquires if there is "any room" at the inn.
Innkeeper replies, "Plenty, come on in."
Wish I'd been there.....Wink
