So you think alcohol should be illegal too? Everything you've said can equally be applied to alcohol.
This is a valid point and so is this
Problem is, nowadays they are harming others, through the cost to the NHS and the benefits system because they take drugs.
And don't forget the crime to support the habit.
As someone that has never ever taken drugs (not even party poppers, nor dope) I can't understand the attraction. As someone that likes a drink (now and again), I can't see the attraction of getting drunk. Yes, I have got drunk on the odd ocassion (lost the house keys one time
) but I realise that I like being in control more.
As a parent, I hope that I've set out the pitfalls of getting bladdered and I would be horrified if my kids were taking drugs. An addition is a terrible thing and I'm not saying that all drugs lead this way, but more often than not, they do. I wonder if any of you would feel the same if you had kids
