He got banned. Do you really think he meant to break the rules? There's a lot of rules breaking on here.

He signed up for the purpose of advertising a website that actually isn't to do with Tennis anyway. Did he mean to break the rules? Maybe, maybe not, but he accepted the rules when he registered so there is no excuse and I don't give the time to people who just sign up to a forum to advertise their website.

I'm sorry. I understand. He probably did.

It's just... I have never read the rules to a forum Rolling Eyes

I thought forums were about the spread of information, a community, thats what it is all about.

Maybe the person who deems himself the judge and jury on this board should look at the way in which his actions will reflect on Andy Murray, sure he wouldnt care if his message baord was a place with a bit of character and humanity as opposed to a regime driven little despot - unless of ourse its th LTA thats really behind this and lets not mention the anti English remarks for fear of being kicked out and banned

I can only advise you read the rules that you agreed to abide by before posting.

A user that advertises their website in their first post is obviously going to be considered as one of those people who won't be making a genuine contribution the board and therefore we may not be able to afford the time that it would require to explain to that user how to behave if he/she is just here to advertise. If one of the regulars did it then things would be a lot different.

That's the thing we should be doing. I don't think a lot of people really do it.

Oh that's very true but some rules are just common sense.

If 'happiness stan' is actually a real person rather than some online marketer then they should certainly be given the opportunity to stay here so they are able make a genuine contribution. But most of the time when someone does what he/she did, they are usually a spamming robot or an online marketer.

That's suprising - I expected OldSchoolTennis to be the same person as Happiness Stan but infact they don't share the same IP or email.
