Yeah, it's my whole name Smile My Dad's Tunisian; it's Arab. I hadn't really heard it here either, but there are three of us on my Uni course with the same name!

Yup. They're both overseas students though. One spells it Amel, but same thing.. I got waay too excited and chatted to her at the start of the year about it. She's pretty shy and quiet hasn't come near me since. Woops.
Apparently there's another Emel in Edinburgh who looks pretty like me. She's been to the same hairdresser and a few other places Smile

I'm from here, but at Uni in St Andrews Smile Edinburgh's pretty boring just now since not many people are around, but I always like the city more after being away for a while. I love St Andrews - it's a lot of fun. Where are you from?

Maybe she was just generally anxious about everything in general.  It takes some people longer to adapt than others.

I'm from the Glasgow area originally, but have been back and forth quite a bit (USA), but am currently living (about to move to) the county of Angus.
