they just need to hear it jangle and they know what's coming.
Yes!! It's so funny that just picking it up makes them run to you from wherever they were in the house.

Mark, you must have been quick to catch that part of my post before I deleted it.  I was trying to post pictures of my 4 cats from one document but it didn't work.  I will need to post them individually.

It was seeing as this thread seems almost to be dedicated to cats, I thought I would share mine with you all too.  So here they are:

Lucy is my oldest tortie, she will be 13 in May, a maine coon.  Sophie is next, she is 7, a tortie tabby mix.  I have had both of these cats from kitten.

Mary is a little odd.  She was homed from Cats Protection and ran away from her previous owner.  She lived rough for about 6 months, I found her and started feeding her, caught her and tried to rehome her with her previous owner  She was having none of it though and ran away again.  We then decided she could stay with us if she settled in and 3 years on she is still with us - the scardiest cat I have ever lived with - I don't honestly understand how she could ever have fended for herself - she is frightened of everything!

And finally Fiona, another tortie.  She is coming on for 2 and I adopted her from my local branch of Cats Protection, where I volunteer.  She has lived with us for almost a year now and is the cutest, smallest cat who lives with my family.

Anyway, here they are in all their furriness.

I'm not sure what you're saying... were you getting some sort of error on MW?

No, no error Mark.  It was just the way I was trying to post the pictures, as a word document but the page didn't appear, only the link, so I thought I would post the pics individually as jpg's.

They certainly sound beautiful LB.  My three oldest sleep alot, (not that I would say 6 or 7 is old - or rather I think they go into some sort of hibernation during winter months!) Sophie unfortunately is a little too rounded for my liking - she likes her food and is a bit of a hoover.

Fiona had been kept as an indoor cat by her previous owner and now she has her freedom I can't keep her in and she is a keen and very efficient mouser.

I love dolphins but do not like to see them in captivity. A few years back myself and family went to Sea World in Florida and saw Shamu I felt sorry for him he is a beautiful animal who should be free to swim in the ocean he is to large to be kept in a pool no matter how large.
