I was so happy with Belarus overtook us, if we are not going to win, then coming last is the next best thing

I'm a shade pished and going to bed....... Urgh.....
The other night it was frozen vodkas, now it's a cherry coke or four? Tut-tut
but probably the only way to survive this annual farce.
I refuse to watch it now, even for a laugh. It used to be great, and I can remember when the UK
did
win it
but I think it's time we opted out of it because the voting is rigged. We got 10 points, Germany got 246 - Jeez!
Ta for the Sandie Shaw video, Elly. Can't believe we used to wear dresses that short. "Pussy pelmets" the guys used to call them.

Oh, how I miss Dima Bilan.
Minus his mullet. This year's contestant sucked.

I thought I heard their song - number 2 or 3 and it didn't do anything for me. I also heard the UK entry and I thought those poor souls were so tight their throats were closing over - the high note which had been achieved earlier in the day - several times, as they were singing for various radio stations - was squeeeeeeeeeked out ... made me cringe for them, poor souls. Wonder where they came in the list - do you know?

We watched the voting. Political, or what? It didn't used to be so in my day...

Not only is it very political but it pisses me off that virtually all countries now sing in English... apart from France of course
but it never used to be like this, even 5 years ago I would say it was about 50/50. I think it should be compulsory to sing in your own language.
