One of the worst movies I ever handed over my hard-earned cash for was 'The Stupids,'
starring
Tom Arnold.

How is it a fact?
It's not. I've already said that.

Not even heard of that one.
I think the only movie I've paid to see more than once is Grease - I was in love with John Travolta

I'd imagine there would have been ginormous usage of green screen for this baby.
And I want to cut Brad's hair. I still my scissors from my junior hairdresser days.

Finally saw Skyfall today. Have things to say, but (unlike Monsieur Graber) will wait until Bev & Invisibleman have had a chance to watch.
I will just say that Daniel did not disappoint. #slurpius maximus.

but are you able to keep quiet for a week or so? My hubby doesn't do crowds. People bug him and he's not adverse to saying so, especially when he's parted with his hard earned cash to see a movie. He wants to hear it too

My gob is duly smacked, ma'am.
But a word to the wise.. if the Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 movie is shown near the same time.. just keep your hubby away! (It was pandemonium here..)

My hubby's reasoning is simple - you pay to see a movie, so why chat or text your way through it? Sit down, shut up and watch the movie. Simples.
. And yes, Twilight started last week. Heard that it my be the best if the lot.

I'll probably go and see Skyfall either next weekend or the weekend after. Don't usually like to go in the first weekend or so as it's too packed.

Just seen "Argo." Although everyone knows outcome
thought it very good- suspenseful and surrealisic.
Like Affleck's films very much so far, "Run Baby Run" was terrific.
Perhaps too simplistic agenda
Iran = bad
CIA = good
But hey- it's only entertainment!

You gearing up for The Hobbit extravaganza heading your way? There's even a news special on it starting at 4.30 pm. Was it like this when the first movie came out?

Oh......I meant to say earlier! Sir Sean Connery played King Richard in 'Robin Hood....Prince Of Thieves'! He didn't put in an appearance until the last few minutes of the film, when he returned from the Crusades, when Marion had just accepted Robin's proposal of marriage! I think he only had one line, which was something like........." As King o' ris Kingdum, I hereby gie youse ma blessin' tae ge' merrit ramorrah.......ren we'll hiv a perty......awright eh? Heh heh!" Hmmm......or was that Rab C.

Was pretty big but I wasn't in Wellington back then. Hoping to be able to see something but unfortunately I have a median appointment just outside the city centre scheduled for 3.40. As long as it's on time and doesn't take too long I'll head back into the city to see if I can get a glimpse of anything but will probably be too late to get anywhere near. At least there will be 2 more films!
