I watched Super 8 last night. Very entertaining. The kids were amazing. The main character, the little boy Joe, reminded me of Mark for some reason.

If anyone’s interested, here’s a preview…

I've watched that it but can't remember it well. Sounds like Joe must have been an incredible character.

Oh, he was and so cute, really. All the other characters were very sweet too. Very funny at times! Loved the chemistry between the main two friends.

Produced by Stephen Spielberg so you know it has its elements in there. Am also a big fan of J.J. Abrams, the Director. Has done quite a few TV series I think.

Just seen "Trance." Decidedly "unentranced." Too much back story, shape shifting and pychobabble.
Oh Danny Boy lame

I saw that last week, quite liked it. The full-frontal shot of Rosario Dawson was a surprise.

Me too

Also, Star Trek into the Darkness which is being released in May. And Star Trek 3, to be released in 2016. That's just too cool. He knows his stuff. I was very impressed with his train crash stuff in Super 8.

Just watched Another Earth. Very good movie. Seems like a story of redemption but there's so much more to it.

Went to see 2 movies today.

Olympus Has Fallen.. a bit like DieHard on steroids at The White House, with a little bit of current politics thrown in. But it had Gerard Butler as the lead, and he was good at that. :slurp:
I can see him reprising this role.

Spring Breakers.. truth be told, I just wanted to see if my boy James Franco could come up with the goods because I think he's one of our best current actors.
He didn't let me down playing the unlikeable and uncomfortable character of Alien.
This movie was really, really bad.. but I think better editing could have it really special. The production values were impressive with some iconic scenes.
Sort of like the fine line between genius and madness.

Watched a really crappy movie last night. It had potential but turned out to be such rubbish. the more I thought about it after I finished watching it, the more I got mad at it. lol. It had an interesting story and you'd watch it too until it's finished, but then you'd be left wondering 'what the hell was that about'?

Sound of My Voice is the name of the movie in case any one of you want to give it a try.

Going to watch Oblivion tonight but not feeling well so may just get pushed to next weekend.
