Yeah I watched it and enjoyed it. Was a good series and quite dark and shocking for an NZ based show. Elizabeth Moss was well cast in that role and they did a good job having an internationally recognised face in the main role, although her accent was appalling. The back story of the character was that she had grown up in that town but had been working in Australia recently but her accent didn't sound Kiwi, Australian or American, I guess it was supposed to be Kiwi. Was also weird seeing probably the most well known current NZ TV personality speaking with an American accent on a show set in NZ (the woman from the camp who had a brief fling with the girl's father).

At the moment I'm enjoying Arrow and Person of Interest season 2 which have both finally made it to NZ TV. Have also found Elementary suprisingly good with 2 episodes to go.

Cheers for the feedback guys thumb up
Yes, the accents are weird, Pete Mullan/Holly Hunter/Liz Moss and they seem to mumble.....
But has a terrific sense of forboding....and some really whacky sexual diversions crack me up eg woman in the bar...Wink

Homeland Season 3 Trailer:

Can't wait for this, looks amazing. One of the free to air networks here managed to get season 2 about 6 hours after the US broadcast so hopefully they manage that again or I'll have to watch it another way.

Yep, Spoiler:
I was pleased they had the big confrontation in this episode. Can't wait to see how we get to the White house being abandoned and Walt having a machine gun in the boot of his car. I reckon he will kill Hank and be forced into hiding once Skyler leaves him for good and his secret is completely out in the open. What a show, but the anxiety levels are increasing with each episode as it becomes more and more obvious that something terrible is going to happen.

By the way Mark, have you got Netflix for this or are you doing a Heisenberg and taking the illegal option to meet your needs?

Speculation aside, the post reveals several details from that episode which are part of the plot.

Spoiler:
If I hadn't seen the episode yet, I'd be really upset at knowing that they do the big confrontation so soon. Part of what made the end of that episode so good was they teased you into thinking they would drag that aspect out like so many other shows would have. But instead they get it out of the way with one of the best acted scenes of the show to date.

Watched the first episode of under the dome last night. Enjoyed it but can't get past the question of Spoiler:
why the hell they can't just dig under it. Assume it must be dealt with at some point.

Your question is answered in a later episode yes

The first 6 episodes of that show are really top quality. The rest are a slower but still enjoyable.

Good to know. Would have been a pretty big plot hole if it wasn't! Still think it would have been one of the first things at least someone would have tried though and was surprised noone thought of it in the first episode.
