Nexus 4 went out of stock in minutes this morning.
Google messed up on this one.
EDIT:
"The Nexus 4 is sold out on the Google Play store in the UK," a Google spokeswoman told ZDNet. "We're not sure when it will be available again."

Dunno, seems like the same thing for all big tech product launches these days. Get the public salivating, have a huge launch and then play it up as a big success because you've run out of stock.
Apple do it with their iFad products all the time.

Phil, I was also sceptical about it going out of stock so soon but it's looking pretty genuine now. Some people who did get a chance to purchase are now being told they have to wait up to 3 weeks for delivery because all the stock got sold.
Looks like Google really were not prepared for this. I suppose this is what you get when you sell a high end phone at half the price of your competitors.

Bendable phones will be coming in 2013 with Samsung first. Here's a look at the technology in action:

I'm probably going to be dragged into the Big-Apple Apple Store next Saturday.
Any requests?

They don't break. They are lighter and thinner. Probably feel much nicer in your trouser pockets.
It's just the start though. What about smart phones that strap around your wrists or smart phone than can unfold into an iPad.

So you can watch everything with a bent, curved or warped screen? They'll never take off.
