It was going to be a news website about the technology but its not worth the effort considering how small a niche it is.

The domain name is a bit of a joke with how some people think the technology will lead to self replicating robots turning the world into grey goo.

Scientists invent £2 energy saving lightbulb that last for 60 years

The researchers have designed a bulb that is three times more energy efficient than today's best offer and can cut lighting bills by 75 per cent.

The bulbs are made using Gallium Nitride (GaN), a man-made substance used in LEDs (light emitting diodes). It is routinely used in bike lights, mobile phones and camera flashes.

Enzyme behind cancer spread found

Scientists say they have discovered a way to stop cancer spreading to other parts of the body.

Cancer metastasis, where the cancer spreads from its original location, is known to be responsible for 90% of cancer-related deaths.

Underwater volcano erupts off Tonga

An underwater volcano has erupted close to the Tonga coast, in the South Pacific ocean.  Scientists sailed to inspect the the volcano, which has been shooting smoke, steam and ash into the air near the low-lying twin volcanic islands of Hunga Tonga and Hunga Ha'apai.  Local authorities said coastal villages close to the active volcano were not yet at risk, and that no warnings had been issued.

New Zealand was put on Tsunami alert for a few hours this morning as a result Rolling Eyes  Geologists flocking to the area apparently!  You got your ticket booked Charlie?
