My money's on a hoax (just ike The Da Vinci code...what a crap book that was)
Still I love things like this, a bit like all the Bad Wolf stuff and sites during the last Dr Who.
I await with interest.
EDIT: Just seen it's linked with Alisteir Crowley
Thata is a complete No in my book, so I wont be having anything more to do with this.
If it's anything to do with Satanism/freemasonry etc, I'm outta there a.s.p.
And no, it's NOT harmless fun.

(and I kinda liked the Da Vinci Code, even though it was very badly written...)

I'm betting its about using the subconscious mind to help us achieve more in life. We already know the subconscious is a powerful tool and if we could train ourselves to use it knowingly we would be better at a lot of things we do.

Four letters to that Mark C R A P
Sorry, but it's rubbish like this that lead gullible people to dangerous cults like Scientology and The Moonies.
I think I'd rather rely on my own intellect and comon sense than buy into some hokum pokum that just makes squillions for the leaders of this garbage.

The subconscious is hardly crap, its benefits are scientific fact, look at REM sleep for example but Alistair Crowley is crap alright
I guess you don't believe in intuition?

Just found that and it backs up my assumption that this series will be teaching what can be found in books like, 'Think and Grow Rich' and 'The Magic of Believing'.

Who said I believed in any of this? I believe in the subconscious and I don't think that is exactly very supernatural.

The Secret has been "revealed" for a while now so time to update this thread as the hype of it all has calmed down. Many of us thought this would all turn out to be viral marketing and it sort of turned out that way. I haven't looked into it much apart from it's basically something to do with the laws of attraction which apparently is talked about in several religions, especially Buddhism.
So, here's the first 20 minutes of the video that was available for pay-per-view when that big hyped up day came:
It's also worth noting this whole thing got extensive coverage on 'Opera' in America.
Oh before people jump to conclusions that I believe this stuff (see previous posts on this thread), you should know that I don't. I am reporting it but do not believe it to be true or false as I don't know much about it.

I didn't watch it on Opera, but I did see the two Oprah shows it aired on
My instincts were right. Complete and utter garbage, far better covered in better self-help books that dont wrap their advice up in pseudo religious crap.

The way it was hyped up was very deceiving considering books about the laws of attraction have been around for ages.

I know what you mean... any weight given to that documentary is lost immediately once she starts speaking

Namaste
. I find it is also good to keep the waistline down. It is also very useful to do a visualisation meditation at the end of a session when you are relaxed, visualising the things you desire. It attracts them to you much faster.
The key here being a) See the thing you want b) Feel as if you have already achieved / obtained it
