I'm in year 10 too!  :P

Finding it harder than year 9.. but im managing... JUST!
It seems like im working 24/7 .. no free time  no
Generally the amount of work is the same.. but it's just getting MUCH harder. A lot of detail and concentration on tiny things. And im REALLY struggling with maths.  Think It's absolutely impossible.  Crying or Very sad

I was finding it ok, and as Julia said, it's basically the same amount of work just a lot harder, and you can't get away with handing it in late/not doing it.
However, because of some personal stuff, i haven't been in school much for the past few weeks, and will probably be like that for a few months. So i am having to do some of the work at home, so as i don't get too far behing on GCSEs, without any teacher help, which i'm finding quite tough!!

wow me to. i am finding it just manageable. but when it comes to maths well. i done so badly on the first modular paper it was unbelievable! the teacher just doesn't seem interested in trying to help me at all! me and my best friend are really struggling in her class and her attitude to it is 'well it's because you have no confidence in yourself' i
well it's not ,it's just to hard! pullhair

Aww!  hug seems like we're all struggling - but yea, some of it is definitly impossible  ranting

I seriously think it's something to do with maths teachers. I've never been "happy" with my maths teacher either.. baisically i had her in year 7 and 8.. then in year 9 she went to live in Australia and in year 10 she came back and i got into her class.
The year that she was gone i improved.. but now i have her again!  ranting Not that she is bad or anything but she just can't teach!  Think Either she's to experienced to handle a class or she just doesn't realise people struggle. And the thing that makes it worse is that i'm in the top set for maths (how that happened.. i don't even know myself..) so at times i feel like an absolute idiot when i don't understand something. Maths has really never been one of my strenghts.

I normally leave most of my homework untill Sunday and when I don't always get back from football untill gone one there isn't much time.  Luckily football today was cancelled because the pitch was frozen so I don't have too much left to do.

I'm quite good at Maths so I'm in top set for that but that means I am also in the top set for three sciences and I struggle in that. :uhm:  offtopic

And i am stupidly best friends with someone who is in Mensa (is that what it's called? but anyway the thing where everyone has an IQ above a certain number), So i sit with her, and she is just amazing,  and gets everything, and is always like 3 exercises ahead of everyone.
