We have a thread for Facebook so might as well do one for Twitter. Just got an email saying Andre Agassi's official Twitter has decided to follow MW's. His management post on it but Andre also personally posts from the account Think

So who uses Twitter then? Smile

Twitter is silly. I did not even know normal people could join. I thought it was just the famous ones. :P

I will not join as I don't see any need to do so.

Twitter is fantastic for famous people to get closer to their fans. However, I don't see it being good for normal people. I never really got why normal people had blogs and now with Twitter, it's on a whole new level.

MurraysWorld has a Twitter account just so our news reaches more people, that's another use that makes sense for it.

Unless you are famous or a very important person, best use Twitter to as a connection to famous people rather than blogging.

Do you need to join to do that? I might consider it....IF Daniel Craig, Andy Murray, Tommy Haas, and David Cameron  have  Twitter's.

MW is my only internet indulgence.  I'm quite a private person at heart, and I really couldn't be bothered with Twitter or even Facebook.  I'm in contact with the people that matter to me through other stuff.

Oh come on, surely you knew Andy has a Twitter account? The front page of MurraysWorld has a section on the right dedicated to his Tweets, we have a thread on it stickied in Andy Talk and the media have used his account on ocassion as well Smile

David Cameron, Daniel Craig and Tommy Haas do not have Twitter accounts.

Yay, my little trick with our RSS feed worked. All our news articles will automatically be published on Twitter with his username in the message so it shows up on his account when he reads his replies... he can't get away from us!
