Had a look a few of these.  Owlets and condor chick really cute.  Pity intrusive ads spoilt them all!

lol  I saw that story and picture in yesterday's Daily Express -

"The Bear That Flew Through The Air"

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a flying bear...

This amazing picture captures the moment he fell from a tree after being shot with tranquillisers.

Straying from a family of black bears, the 200lb creature had wandered on to a campus at the University of Colorado. Then he scaled a tree near student dorms and took refuge in its branches.

A police spokesman said: “He was just resting up there probably for a good two hours.”

The young bear was tranquillised by wildlife experts, fell from his perch, and made a near-perfect landing on padded mats laid down below.

He was then transferred to a cage ready to be released in the wild.

I saw a black bear last week...no kidding.  I was driving into my mum's road (she lives in the 'sticks') and just as I turned the corner, my headlights caught it.
When you go camping here, you do not leave food outside at night.

nervous  Don't think they're as dangerous to humans as brown (grizzly) bears, though.

Don't think the colour matters when you're up close and personal. nervous
