First of all Im sorry for creating a new thread instead of using the older, but I couldnt find it via search. So thanks in advance for merging.
Anyway my point is what do people who use Opera think about it?
For me its the complete harmony of everything that was ever tried to be put into a browser.
You may think Im exaggeratedly generous, but thats how I fekk it is.

Mod NoticeMerged here. There wasn't an appropriate thread when you searched but I've just renamed another one and now we have a place for all browser talk.

You are such an Opera fanboy lol

There's a simple reason Opera, regardless of version, will never be the best browser - lack of third party extensions, that's what will always make Firefox superior.

I could not live without the extensions: Gmail Notifier, IE Tab, Web Developer & Firebug.

None of those is neccessary for a browser.

So what? It's about what the user wants and these days extensions are essential for some users. That Gmail one is needed by many people.

I like Chrome a lot but they haven't opened it up to third party extensions yet, I'm sure they will soon enough though.

Google Chrome have launched their extensions website and pretty much every extension I use on Firefox is available for Chrome so I will be trying to make the switch to Chrome from Firefox now Smile

Well, well, well. Turns out the bug you guys are referring to has nothing to do with me or this forum, it's a bug in IE that Microsoft confirms exists.

I've now found a hack that I've implemented that stops this occuring. It should be fixed for you all now? Smile
thumb up Mark.  Thank you.

Come to think of it, I switched from IE to Firefox for a while, and was using that when I joined MW.  Didn't like F/f so switched back to IE about 3 months ago, and that's when I noticed the problem, but for some reason failed to make any connection. doh  If only Quiz had put his first complaint in the appropriate thread ...

Strange though that you had no trouble with IE8 and  I had no problem with a computer using IE7, so maybe some bugs just only get in if an opportunity allows them to, for whatever reason? Think

Mod NoticeA discussion on Internet browsers followed this post and therefore it was moved from 'Questions & Answers' to this thread in Chit-Chat.
