Thought it an interesting idea for everyone to post up that particular song/tune that has the most effect on them emotionally. I think sometimes we associate songs to certain events without meaning to and then when you listen back later on in life, they make you feel very emotional even if you can't figure out why.

This song does something to me that no other comes close to.

Right now, it would be Ocean of Noise by Arcade Fire.

There's no association there really, just a seriously powerful song.

There are a lot of songs that evoke emotion but there's probably one that does the most due to the conotations I have with the time in my life when I listened to it most.

It's actually a really beautiful song.

No but it was in the last year so that's why it's probably fresh in my mind and I may very well lose the same associations with it in the future. Smile

Yours is quite nice and soothing, almost chilled trance.

Mark- Actually quite liked yours, not normally my style but

Andrew- Is there any of their songs you don't like? lol

Julia- I could totally fall asleep to that, really relaxing yes

Tommy- You're a girl hug

As for me...so many, my families one (well mum, brother and I) where pretty much everything we say we can think of a song that fits lol

So I'm going to be annoying and post too, one secular, one a worship song- sorry can't help it Shrug

So okay an odd one but since it's family trip down south tomorrow it fits Smile


My mum is a HUGE Lindisfarne fan, even went to a gig while heavily pregnant with me lol And their albums always make our travel music selection and we all end up singing along Very Happy

This is the song I asked to be sang at my baptismal service and pretty much sums up how I feel about Christ and what he's done for me yes


Yeah long ramble and I've gone Christian on you all again, but you should be used to that by now lol

I don't know why I listen to it as for years it has always made me feel loneliness and heartbreak of some kind.
