davidB, I've given you all the evidence you need.  If you want to doubt it, be my guest.  The evidence is overwhelmingly on my side.  You're backing the wrong horse.  Hopefully you'll understand the theory better in future.

Sorry, I forgot how it went exactly; they have more than 23 pairs. They have 47 chromosomes.

Sorry, evolution is based on a lot of assumptions, and that's all I can see when I look at it. The BSC appears to ben an ambitious arm of science. We can agree to disagree. Hopefully the ridiculous attacks against religion can stop now that there's been a rational discussion on the subject.

That is basically having an extra 21st chromosome, not having an entirely new pair.

You haven't refuted anything I've said or any of the sources.  Gravity is based on "assumptions".  You are confusing a logical inference with an assumption.

We can agree to disagree.  You're welcome to believe what you want to believe, but until you actually try and refute the evidence, your assertions have no substance.  You are opposing something that is ingrained in science and is accepted by about 99.99% of biologists.

I'm very tired now.  I've been at this for 10 pages.

It's the Darwin season on the BBC!

The first TV programme will be, 'What Darwin Didn't Know', which airs on 26 January, 9pm BBC Four.

Had to laugh at this. There's no one quite like oh-so-tolerant and caring religious people (and left-wingers) for suddenly becoming highly intolerant when someone expresses a world view that doesn't quite chime with theirs.
