Yes, I'm talking about the 'Aces' on MW.
Simply, 'Aces' was an attribute, that was calucalated by the 'average of words in a post, added up' (Julia)
Forum regulars such as Arka, davidB and probably even Cate and Rochelle havent experienced the unparallelled joy of watching your 'Aces' total build up as you spent more of your hard-earned leisure time (or in Arka's case, time
) posting away on these boards.
However, suddenly there were no more Aces, members campaigned. There were angry demonstrations outside MW Head Office, but the 'Aces' weren't reinstated. To this day, many still wonder what might have been if 'Aces' were still a pivotal part of MW.
So I therefore extend an inquiry to Mark, our admin in asking:
1) Can we have our 'Aces' back?
2) If this cannot happen, why not?
To add to the fabricated sense of rebellion, I would like to create a petition.
To AdminWe, the undersigned wish to have the 'Aces' system re-instated on MW, in the belief that they bring an added dimension of fun and bragging rights , that has not been bettered since then.
