Mark, I know I've brought this up before, but I wonder how many peeps are having the same probs as me.

I have to log in every time. It doesn't work if I clear my cookies or owt. So, just as I go to make a post, it doesn't register. Frown

Frown It's a pain in the butt. Anyone else having these troubles?

// I've moved this thread to 'Chit Chat' and Sticky'd so more people will read it. - Mark.

Well i've had it in the past but am not experiencing that particular problem at the moment! Smile

One more thing.. the toolbar that used to be on the top left side on the main page has somehow decided to sink to the very bottom under all the news articles!  :uhm: Is it my computer.. or nicht?

Oh really, on the front page the navigation bar has gone?

Julia, press ctrl+f5 and tell me if it still is doing that and can you tell me the browser you are using?

I did re-code the site last night so it's more friendly to search engines, but I've tested the site in Internet Explorer and FireFox and it seems fine Neutral

Well, ctrl+F5 did the trick  goodjob so don't know what was happening to it earlier.

I was using AOL 9.0 - although i usualy use Internet Explorer, that might be the reason.

OK the left bar problem is a little odd, I cleared cookies and deleted files for IE and then it disapeared, yet I refreshed the page and it works fine whatever I do. I know all this is happening because I re-coded the site last night so it is more search engine friendly.

Please someone tell me if this problem persists after doing ctrl + f5.

Regarding the log in problem, can everyone do 'Delete Cookies' and 'Delete Files' and tell me if it is still a problem?

The issue has come about after I removed and re-installed the forum to clean out some rubbish.

In Internet Explorer, click on the menu at the top called Tools > Internet Options > click Delete Cookies and Delete Files > FINISHED!

Have you tried doing what I said above, 'Delete Files', 'Delete Cookies' and then going back to MW and pressing ctrl+f5?

Very odd, I hope it isn't annoying you, the theme this forum uses isn't official and could have bugs I guess.

Oh and I know the left navigation bar on the front page sometimes doesn't load for you guys, if that is the case please reply to this topic and tell me the version of IE you are using and your operating system (Windows Xp etc.).

I did try what you have said, and I still had to login twice. Today is first time I can login once for a change.
