I've enabled the calender on this board and made it so any member can post a new event into it (not sure if this is a good idea yet).

So in the board index it will tell you the next events and birthdays within 7 days.

Confused - can we post events on the calendar without them becoming whole new topics?

Well I could make it like that but then people could just create events for everything and it would probably make it harder to moderate.

EDIT: OK - I've set it so you can do that Laura but might revert back if it turns out to be a bad idea.

Fair enough Smile I was just thinking that we probably already have threads for Davis Cup, so I felt silly creating a new one. But I guess it's important that the event has a discussion link...hmmm...

It's optional now so I'll delete your thread if you want and you can add it without a thread?
