My London/Paris Pics
« on: July 18, 2006, 10:23 AM »
Just wondering how I should post pics from my trip. I have so many good ones worth posting that I think it would too much for 1 post, so does anyone have any good ideas?
I thought I could combine say 2 or 3 main places I went into 1 thread etc but that would end up creating loads of different threads. A better idea might be to have 1 thread, and post say 5-7 pics, leave it a couple of days for people to see them and comment, and then post another 5 or so and put 'updated' and the date in the thread title, and keep going like that leaving it all in 1 thread. Might be better and easier for people to remember certain pics than posting say 30 in 1 post.
Any other ideas for keeping them organised?
(This is assuming a few people are interested in seeing my pics of course)

Yeah I will post as many as I can, just wondering how to do it. I think it would be too many to put in just 1 post.

My choice is the 'delayed posting' concept.

Of course!!
I agree, post them, leave them for a week and then change. I'm really looking forward to seeing them!

I have posted more than 30 in one post on here.
(Although i suggest you don't do that, Alex. Especially if you do not resize them.)
If they're huuuuge limit to 5 a post i would say.
If you resize them to x400 then i would say 15 a post is fine.

I will resize to the normal size I post pics. Will probably post about 10 pics, then leave it 2 or 3 days and post another 10 (I went way over the top and took hundreds of photos so there's plenty worth posting). So would it be better to add new ones to the original post, or make a new post at the end of the thread?
I'll do separate threads for London and Paris aswell as writing a bit in chit chat, will try and start in the weekend.
