It's the same system as before but the early rank achievements don't always gain new stars but as you start racking up the 1000's then you will be rewarded. This way Arka, for example, will have more stars then the rest but before he had the same as other people who were ranked below him.

So you are more likely to gain a star the higher up the rankings you go but moving up the early rankings may not gain you a star.

I didn't really get that, I had to read it 4 times. If I got it the right way... It's a combination of stars and aces? dontknow

No, sorry for the confusion.
