Trusted Status will no longer be automatically applied to members who reach 'Seed' ranking and above. Even though we've had this Wiki style permission for years, no one seems to have taken advantage of it by contributing match alerts and page content updates. Allan, who's a moderator and can do it anyway, still appears to be the only one doing it. Therefore, it's not worth the security risk to have this automatically applied to accounts.
From now on, Trusted Status will be applied to accounts that are manually chosen based on them being considered extremely trustworthy.
Until now I had no idea that Trusted Status existed.
How soon will those who meet the trustworthy criteria be advised? And will they be listed publicly? If so, although it doesn't bother me, might this not cause some discontent amongst those who feel they should have been selected?
