In the last few days I have been configuring/tweaking the new server MurraysWorld will move to very soon. I also took the opportunity to upgrade SMF from RC2 to RC3 on the new server, most important reason is security fixes. But upgrading takes quite a lot time because this forum has so many customisations and hacks but that's a good thing - it adds uniqueness.
Please could a few of you go to
murraysworld.net and check for any problems...
Tasks:
1) Search for 'images' and click on one of the results.
2) Create a thread somewhere and reply to it.
3) Reply to another user's thread and then edit your post using both the quick edit and normal 'Modify' fuction.
4) Post a message in the shoutbox.
5) Send a private message to me.
6) Post a YouTube video somewhere.
7) Log out and back in again.A few changes:
- When quick editing you get a Gmail like indicator that lets you know that the server is doing something.
- Slight speed increase in page loads etc.
Problems I know about (please tell me if it happens anyway)
- Unable to Log Out.
- Once Logged Out, receives message: "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again."
- Javascript error on logging out but you probably won't notice that because it only shows in your browser's error console.
