Removing the delete function from everyone is just a temporary measure while I resolve this, it will return.

What I want to have is a 'Non-Trusted' membergroup that I can apply to various people who are considered a potential risk to this site. This membergroup would not be allowed to delete their posts and also would be prevented from reaching Trusted Status. So if fuzzy were to ever reach Trusted Status then he would go in this category, due to the number of previous rule breaks, and therefore not be able to screw up the front page.
This would not be some public humiliation as it would be done behind the scenes so only the people who have it, know about it.

That's good enough for me, I'll get it warmed up for when Fuzzy get's here.

'Non-Trusted' status has been given to four members as they have been deemed to be a potential risk to this website. Members under this restriction are not able to remove their posts on any board except for RTR. These members also cannot edit their posts after 24 hours.
The temporary restriction on all member's ability to delete their posts has now been lifted.

I don't see why anyone would want to go to the time and effort of removing over 1200 of his/her posts.

Not much worse for my sanity, it will be days before I have those posts back and it's so bloody tedious.
Why waste your time over it?

Now all members with 'Newbie' status have the same restrictions as Non-Trusted. This is good to protect against trolls who want to come here and cause trouble but also it means we can stealthily give new users the Non-Trusted status without even them knowing about it.
