Jessy, so when you try and upload the file it just never completes right? If that is the case it sounds like their server has a low timeout limit for uploading files, so basically it is too big for them.
1-2MB shoudn't be too big for most of the free image hosting services out there.
Try some of these:
RapidShare.de, YouSendIt.com, Upload2.net, Momoshare.com, zUpload.com, UltraShare.net, Rapidupload.com, iHud.com, SendMeFile.com, MooLoad.com
See if they mention the filesize limit on the websites above to save you some time.

its 1.5Mb now i changed it to jpeg from bmp. ill have a go.
