Sorry - must have been thinking of the original Neil and RTR discussion.
RTR - nah, no point. I'm not around at weekends, so I'd miss every final.

Em - clearly you have some kind of aneurism going on here.
But maybe I'm wrong, since I haven't looked at RTR for ages.

Currently no edits are allowed. That's clearly part of "the way RTR is run".
And you're proposing a new change, so edits will be allowed.

Is it the language or the thinking you're having problems with lmao ?

I'm not the one with the stick up my ass clearly.

measdale, why are you trying to stir? lol

Neil has a decent argument for the edit notice as it could mean the removal of the edit restriction on the RTR board but personally I woudn't want the grace period to be 0 which would then mean we would need to keep restrictions on RTR.

Me, stir?  I'm just getting the stats back up. lmao

I just like the way Neil reacts to everything, and has to have the last word (kinda like a teenage girl).

Regarding your point, my discussion with Neil is simply to point out that introducing this edit won't automatically result in the changes he's suggesting to RTR.
That's a different discussion, about a different change.
It's just that this step would have to take place first.

For some reason he's having problems admitting that there would be another change required further down the line .... largely because he's incapable of posting "sorry - I meant to say ..." but has to stand by his original posts, regardless of the leaps of logic and linguistics required ...

[let's see his reaction to that .... Sticking tongue out. ]

I'm not the one with the stick up my ass clearly.

In that case you may be some kind of imposter ... Smile

I have no problems admitting there would be further change at all. Indeed in my original post I believe I said something along the lines of "this could then enable the edit function in RTR and no one could cheat"

And with regards saying "sorry i meant" I believe I've said that several times in other topics on this forum in the past. So again, clutching at straws.

So I'm not sure what you are getting at when it is clear that either you a) did not read my posts properly or b) failed to understand what I was getting at (which I find unlikely since you seem to have worked it out by yourself anyway..... is that not so?)

Hence, you are doing nout by stirring and trying to insult me to boot.

I'm not the one with the problem.

You were quite clear Neil - from an objective position I think either measdale has either misunderstood you or is trying to get a reaction out of you, the latter is probably the case.

Why? What is it you hope to achieve? If you ask a question, I will answer it, even if you don't want an answer. That's not only in my nature, but the general nature of a public forum. For people to Reply to what you have posted.

Further to this, you'd think with people moaning about arguing constantly and so on and so forth, that they wouldn't want to try and stir things up. Yet, this seems not to be the case. You are trying to take the moral high ground and make me look like the instigator, yet it is in fact yourself that is trying to provoke a reaction and start a big argument.

Quite surprising is it not?

And no, I meant "nout".

Who's complaining about arguing constantly? Perhaps you're confusing me with someone else, 'cos it ain't me.

Instigator? I'm not trying to make you look like the instigator. Read my posts - I've specifically said I'm trying to get you to react.

What's "quite surprising"?
I think you're very confused ...  lol

I asked:

And in which particular fantasy universe does Neil think it'll change the way RTR's run?

There's nothing in the proposal in this thread here which will enable the change which you want made in RTR.  yawn

firstly, in general that's what people's views are, they are fed up of it. If your view varies, then fine, I'll argue with you all day.

secondly, I already explained that this has to go through first as you are well aware, in order to make the proposed changes HENCE why I am in favour. I know you understand this, and I know you are being retarded on purpose.

You also, have to have the last word clearly....... kinda hypocritical if that's what you are trying to see about me.........

It's hard to believe ... you came back and posted again! I did visit, but only saw Mark's post.

Why are you ascribing "general" people's views to me?
This is just another example of the sloppy thinking which typifies your posts: no wonder you want to be able to edit your posts in RTR if they're anything like here. lol

And I never questioned why you were in favour of this resolution, that was evident. I just questioned your assumption that a further change would be made.
A change you later claimed was not a change, or it was but not to the way RTR was run ...

... anyway, I have to catch the rest of the match.

Sticking tongue out.

Bored, waiting for Andy's match to start ....

I have to now ask, what is your problem? What did I ever do to you? At least Amy has a reason for stirring posts with me lol

If it's purely boredom and to see if I would reply, it's actually quite pathetic.....
