i miss the ability to return to the forum right after u post. now it just goes straight ot what u posted but i liked going straight to the forum... can we do this?

But you know what I've been trying to figure out for ages, Mark? Next to the forum you're in, now it's 'Feedback/Support' are 'Message Board - Murraysworld.com' and next to that 'Andy Murray/Message Board'
They end up on the same, don't they??

Dentie: Yeah, that's the way it works right now - I might be able to fix it but it might take some time and it isn't exactly much of a problem.

Davidb: that can be easily be changed but I'm making the assumption that most people like to go straight back to the topic they posted. If that isn't the case then I can change it...

Thing is, for match time it would annoy people to constantly go back to the index when they want to update people with scores.

well it had the two links! it said click here to view your post and click here to return to the forum!!! i would click there to view my post during match time and elsewhere when it wasnt match time!!!

Not sure about anyone else but I found that annoying. We don't have it here because SMF takes advantage of AJAX technology meaning the page will update without a refresh/reload.

Like the edit button to the right of your post lets you edit your post without going to a new page.

I prefer to go back to the topic.
What I am missing is the quick login box on the front page of the forum where we could just login instead of clicking login, waiting for the page to load then typing our password and waiting for another page to load etc. Think I mentioned this before, is there anway to add it to the front page?
